One-on-one therapy is a great way to process difficult experiences or to problem solve feeling stuck. The therapeutic philosophy that we utilize includes identifying and replacing the unhelpful thoughts, behaviors, or interaction patterns in your life. Oftentimes this includes reviewing past traumas as well as your current situation.
*If you are looking for therapy for a minor, parent consent and involvement in treatment is necessary past a certain point. Please contact me for more information about working with minors.

Often families experience conflict where each member is stuck in their own perspective and feels unheard. This conflict is often deep-seeded and long-term. My work with families enables respectful, useful communication that increases understanding of one another and facilitates healing.
Family therapy encompasses many different family structures. Families we see are diverse, including single or complex structures, with or without adult or minor children, and include parenting/hierarchy difficulties, family transitions and role changes, and historical family trauma.
Trainings and Seminars
I provide trainings for professionals and students in the following areas: eating disorders, anxiety, perfectionism, and DBT. Learning more about these areas can facilitate improved confidence in your employees competence to treat these populations. Trainings including background/theoretical orientation, education about diagnosis and evidence-based treatment, the role of collaborating with other medical professionals, and knowing when and how to collaborate. For more information on seminar availability and rates, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
I also offer clinical supervision for Professional Counselors and Marriage and Family Therapists in their work toward independent licensure and supervision. Supervision formats include individual and group and vary based on a variety of factors including work environment and volume. Contact Kate for more information about how supervision here is structured (email@example.com).
