Individual Therapy
One-on-one therapy is a great way to process difficult experiences or to problem solve feeling stuck. The therapeutic philosophy that we utilize includes identifying and replacing the unhelpful thoughts, behaviors, or interaction patterns in your life. Oftentimes this includes reviewing past traumas as well as your current situation.
Couples Therapy
Does your partner feel like your enemy? Couple conflict is common in all relationships. Anger and resentment can build easily, even for the most well-intentioned people. It's best to take a proactive approach to taking care of each other, and couples therapy is a safe place to evaluate your relationship concerns. Are you in a gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, or other non-heteronormative relationship? I am accepting and affirming; you are welcome here.
Family Therapy
Often families experience conflict where members are stuck in their own perspective and feel unheard. This conflict can be deep-seeded and have long historical roots. My work with families enables respectful, useful communication that increases understanding of one another and facilitates healing. Family therapy can encompass single or complex structures, with or without adult or minor children, and can include parenting/hierarchy difficulties, family transitions and role changes, and family trauma.
